LA FROMAGERIE HAMEL
Established in Montreal in 1961, this master cheese-maker-refiner offers an astronomical selection of cheeses in his stall and has his own maturing cellars called "cellars for ageing". Coming from the floralized and imported terroir, there are hundreds of fine cheeses, to please all gourmets, not to mention the in-house range, Le Pic, which includes about fifty cheeses and products exclusive to the dairy. For those who are nostalgic for cheeses from across the country or elsewhere, there are five Hamel boutiques in Montreal and one in Repentigny and Boucherville. They also have their own maturing cellar!
