Formerly known as The Tulip Valley, Motel Chelsea is now under the management of the owners of Wakefield's Café Le Hibou. They've turned it into a particularly successful vintage haven, with an eco-conscious choice of materials for the renovations and decor. Seven rooms, two two-bedroom apartments and a caravan: each unit is an artistic experience in itself, decorated with nuggets unearthed here and there. The motel also houses the Oiseau Bleu restaurant and lounge, as well as a boutique area for unusual purchases.
