LA VERENDRYE WILDLIFE RESERVE
Wildlife reserve with lakes, including Grand Lac Victoria, a great address for canoe-camping, hunting and fishing.
Straddling the Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions, this immense 12,589 km² territory boasts over 4,000 lakes and an incredible wealth of flora and fauna. A true paradise for canoe-camping (over 800 km of navigable trails) and fishing (800 accessible lakes). The wildlife reserve includes Grand lac Victoria and two gigantic reservoirs, Dozois and Cabonga.

The South, Lac Rapide and North reception areas are open from mid-May to early September, and can be reached via Highway 117. You'll find telephone numbers and precise opening times on our website.
