The Algonquins of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Nation welcome visitors to their ancestral territory year-round. You will discover a cultural exhibition centre on the history, traditions and culture of this community (free admission). The exhibits are filled with artifacts, some dating back 8,000 years. The traditional powwow is held each year on the first weekend in June and features a variety of events related to music, song, language and traditional ways.
