CENTRE D'ART POPULAIRE DU QUÉBEC
Center des créateurs québécois d'hier à aujourd'hui exhibiting sculptures, paintings, quilts and hooked rugs.
The Centre d'art populaire has set up shop in a heritage building. When we talk about folk art, we're not just talking about sculpture, but also painting, quilting and hooked rugs, for example. The Centre showcases Quebec creators from the past to the present through exhibitions and the Rendez-vous de l'art populaire, held annually in June. A very interesting place dedicated to simple art, the art of the people. A must-see!
