VIA Rail services include Montreal, Mauricie, Abitibi, Saguenay, the south shore of the St. Lawrence as far as Gaspésie (Matapédia Valley), the Maritimes (New Brunswick and Nova Scotia), Ottawa and southwestern Ontario (Montreal-Windsor corridor), not to mention the rest of the country. In addition to the downtown station (also known as Gare du Palais), there are other stations in Sainte-Foy and Charny on the south shore of Quebec City. VIA Rail's new trains are available on certain routes between Montreal and Quebec City.

Nice building in lower Québec it has nice personnel that help a lot. There are also Cafe.

Service très agréable, on est bercé dans ce train, on est très bien installé, sur des sièges confortables, nous avons emprunter sur le trajet allant de Quebec à Montréal et vice versa, on a mis environ 4 heures. Une proposée passe avec un chariot proposant boissons et encas. Nous avions à notre disponibilité par personne d'un prise norme Canada, pour chargeur. Ainsi que d'un rangement sous le siège pour mettre une valise taille cabine avion, et au dessus de nos siège d'un rangement pour mettre notre manteau, les grands bagages sont mis dans un wagon spéciale. A Montréal on récupère nos grands bagages sur un tapis. Le poids des valises et à prendre en compte, ils sont pesées. On a bénéficié du wifi
gratuit pendant tout le voyage. De très grandes vitres pour apprécier le paysage.

Très jolie gare. A visiter même si vous ne prenez pas le train. Ne pas rater la zone portuaire située derrière qui vaut aussi un coup d'oeil. Nombreuses oeuvres d'art à proximité.
