AUX ANCIENS CANADIENS
The ultimate experience in terms of traditional Quebec cuisine, all in a warm setting with a New France feel.
Known as the "Maison Jacquet", this pretty house seems to have come straight out of the 17th century or a Grimm fairy tale. It's an excellent regional specialties restaurant where you can sample traditional Quebec dishes rarely found elsewhere. One of the chef's specialties is the trois mignons, an assortment of grilled elk, bison and venison with Quebec berry sauce. The New France-style decor is very pleasant, and service is impeccable, with staff dressed in period costumes.
