HÔTEL LE CONCORDE QUÉBEC
Hotel in Quebec City with a bistro-bar with a 360° view as well as spacious and fully equipped rooms and suites.
It's easy to spot: the building's architecture is out of this world! It offers over 400 rooms and suites with breathtaking views of the river, the copper roofs and the Plains of Abraham. While the hotel's style may seem a little old-fashioned at first glance, the rooms are spacious and perfectly equipped. The Grande Allée suite offers nothing less than two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a sauna and a large whirlpool bath, all on two floors. For meals, the rotating bistro-bar with its 360° view is a must.

The lobby was beautiful, but that's pretty much it. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a scene that resembled more of a frat house after a wild party than a hotel room. The sheets were old and stained, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks, and there were mysterious spots on the walls that I didn't even want to contemplate. The lack of cleanliness was not the only issue; the noise levels... Thin walls did nothing to block out the sounds of other guests, and I could hear every conversation and movement from neighboring rooms. I got woken up the first night by people walking and talking in the hallways (I wasnt mad at the kids having a fun night out, but surprised by the THIN WALLS). No amendities in room, the dust was gross. An older room with no care. We didn't have access to our own room heating. So we were freezing all weekend. (AC on when its 5-10° out?). I wiped down the tables myself because of coffee and food stains.
Also. The pool and spas were OK. The pool was hotter than the spa itself and no towels left for guest.
If I had to point out the positives: Location and the restaurants were amazing.
Overall, I would not recommend the Concorde to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay. The dirty conditions make it an experience I would rather forget.
