This elegant establishment is housed in two townhouses dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. Rooms and suites are decorated in a personalized country style, with original features such as exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, iPod dock and mini-fridge. Some suites also feature a kitchen, living room and/or whirlpool bath. Breakfast is included and is served in a brasserie that also serves lunch and dinner. The hotel is ideally located, just a 2-minute walk from the Notre-Dame de Québec basilica-cathedral and Château Frontenac.

A few specific items with the room:
1) shower leaked into the main bathroom area when in use
2) A/C wasn't working
3) Stairs going up the room were uneven in height
There was also a very bad stench in the street area the first night I checked in.
Overall, I don't feel the character was worth the price.
