Expérience formidable avec mon garçon pour notre séjour à Québec. Nous avons été charmés par l'Hôtel Monsieur Jean. Le souper au restaurant en soirée était vraiment extraordinaire. Nous reviendrons certainement!

Most beautiful hotel in Quebec city!
This was one of the best stay I’ve had in 8 years of traveling back and forth from Montreal.
From the customer service, to the design, to the delicious breakfast and coffee (coffee snob), to the super cute little details in the gorgeous rooms. Everything was perfect!
The location of the hotel is also perfect to walk to a restaurant/bar nearby and has cute boutiques all around it.
I usually dont write reviews on hotels, but this hotel definitely deserves a five star rating.
I will definitely come back on my next business trip with my partner!

Fantastic pet friendly hotel! Spacious, modern, clean room, and great breakfast options. They also offer valet service which is super convenient around this area

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.. incredible staff. The rooms are fantastic and Quite unique. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Quebec. This is central to all your needs. No driving required. They have their own parking but it is best to park in the public lot next door. The bar is incredible and that staff aswell are incredible.

I will be booking a trip again and booking at this hotel.
Great experience for my first time out of Ontario.

Le plus bel hôtel dans lequel j'ai mis les pieds (dans le monde !). Évidemment, je ne suis pas nécessairement allé dans des "high-class" hôtels comme le Bristol de Paris ou le Ritz de New York, mais dans ce que j'appelle des hotels de qualité ET abordable, c'est le plus bel que j'ai fait. Service incomparable de la part des employés. C'était mon anniversaire et ils m'ont offert une petite surprise à la chambre. J'avais la chambre supérieure aux fenêtres panoramiques avec baignoire qui donne sur une fenêtre avec vue sur la ville. Tout, dans les moindres détails, est pensé pour nous faire vivre un moment exceptionnel. N'hésitez pas à réserver directement avec eux, ils offrent des petits plus quand vous passez par eux directement. La douche italienne et la cuisinette complète (avec machine à café Nespresso) sont un gros gros "plus" !! Sans compter la localisation incroyable directement dans le vieux-Quebec.
Dernière chose, mais non la moindre, il s'agit du lit le plus douillet et confortable dans lequel j'ai dormi EVER !!! Wow. Un vrai nuage !
Je reviendrai à 200% sur et certain ! Mon hôtel chouchou ❤

C'était tout simplement un séjour incroyable! De part notre arrivée, à notre chambre, au service. Tout était simplement impeccable et irréprochable! À y retourner pour...n'importe quelles occasions!

Monsieur Jean est un hôtel absolument incroyable, de par la qualité de son service, la gentillesse de ses employés et la qualité des chambres. Le lit et la literie sont très confortables et on y trouve certainement un réconfort avec la décoration recherchée mais sans prétention. J’ai adoré mon passage chez Monsieur Jean et j’y retournerai certainement, vu son service et son emplacement imbattables!

J’ai réservé une chambre chez vous car on prévoyait arriver assez tard de voyage et nous voulions dormir avant de reprendre la route. Quelle erreur de ma part ! Nous sommes arrivés à 23h30 et j’étais extrêmement déçue de ne pas profiter pleinement de l’expérience que vous avez à offrir! Prochainement, nous réserverons quelques afin de profiter au maximum de votre établissement! D’ailleurs, c’est mon conjoint qui avait réservé et il avait oublié d’indiquer qu’on nous serions avec nos enfants. J’ai écrit un courriel et j’ai eu un super service de la part de Coralie L-F. Elle a été très professionnelle et m’a répondu très rapidement. En arrivant dans la chambre, tout était en place pour nous accueillir avec les enfants (peignoirs et pantoufles pour enfants, poubelle à couche, parc pour bébé). Je recommande votre magnifique hôtel au décor éclectique et aux lits très confortables!

Me and my boyfriend decided to book this hotel to celebrate our 5 years anniversary. We also decided to bring our puppy with us to celebrate this special moment with us, as not a lot of hotels allow pet in Quebec City. We ended up deciding to booked this hotel. Before arriving at the hotel, I’ve read several reviews online, indicating to reach out to hotel staff prior to booking a room if you’re bring your pets. So we made sure to do so, and one of the front desk agent told me over the phone that she will put a note on the file and the charge will be $35 a night extra. Upon arrival when checking in, one of the staff told me that they could not find any notes on the file and they will have to charge me $50 a night (as that’s the regular cost for pet cleaning fee). When I tried explaining the situation, they even ask me to show them my call records as a prove of me actually calling. (Which i find absurd, but I still showed the front desk staff).

Later on, when we were checking in to the room I have two friends helping me out to carry stuff in the room as where the hotel is located it is quite difficult to temp park aside the road (as it’s not allowed) and bring all our stuff down especially the parking was also full that day. Having all that said, one of the valet came up to us and asked me if there are three person staying overnight instead of two (which I felt like I’m being interrogated for no reason).

Finally, going through all the trouble checking in and moving everything up and finding a parking spot. We finally settled in the room around 8pm, and decided to take a hot bath after a long drive that day. Later we found out there is NO HOT WATER!!!! We called front desk and they advised us the whole building is having the same issue there is nothing they can do but the issue will be resolved in an hour. After an hour it’s still not fixed we called again and the staff told us it’ll take another 20-30 mins and they apologized for the inconvenience. At 12 we checked the hot water again and it is still NOT FIXED. Had to wait till the next morning and found that there is still no HOT WATER. So we spend close to $300 a night staying at a four star hotel with no hot water, and there is not action from the staff for reaching out and letting us the customer know the progress.

I understand things like that would happen, but I’m just not satisfied with how they deal with the situation. When they could’ve said they’re not sure about the time needed for resolving the issue, the staffs told us it will be fixed and giving us hope that it will definitely be resolved by that night.

I also would like to mention, the room is super clean and tidy. And you can tell the details they put in each room, with the little duck they give and slippers as well as umbrella in case it rains. But overall the service is just not the greatest and the location made it hard to park on the street and move the stuff down.

Highly recommend this hotel. Rooms are enormous and very clean. They pay very close attention to detail. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I plan to come back in the future.

Beautiful hotel in the center of town, conveniently located, walking distance to everything. Very clean accommodations, elegantly designed hotel, beautiful bar/lounge. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.....and the hotel is dog friendly. What more could you ask for. It was our first time visiting Quebec City and Monsieur Jean Hotel.

This was genuinely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were very clean, spacious, had a kitchenette hidden away, heated flooring in the bathroom. Large shower with a lovely shower head. Slippers and robes are provided in the room and an umbrella in the closet which is a little thing but very thoughtful. I also appreciated that the rooms have hardwood floors vs a lot of other hotels having carpet. Every staff member I interacted with was very helpful and kind. Loved the bar as well, such a beautiful space. Loved all the decor, especially the dark hallways made me feel like I was in a movie set. The fire out front was also very much appreciated. To sit there and enjoy after a day of exploring. I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel experience. I really appreciated that to use the elevator, you had to tap your card before it would work. Good safety feature. This will be my #1 choice when visiting Quebec City again. Location, room, service, all 10/10.
