We've been on ghost tours in many Canadian cities, but this one will remain in our memories! We followed the ghost of Marie Rivière who transported us into the world of crime in New France. As we walked through the streets, alleys and squares of Old Quebec, we were told sordid (and real) stories, as well as the punishments incurred by criminals (we thank society for having evolved!). Several other tours are offered, including one for Halloween and Christmas in New France. We highly recommend it!

Owner's Message
Our walks, animated by a comedian, take place exclusively in Old Quebec. Our activities are interactive and historical.
The entire tour is done on foot and 100% outdoors. Depending on the activity selected, the duration is approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Our activities take place even in case of rain. There is no cancellation (except in extreme cases)
All our activities are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Crimes in New France animated tour
The history of New France is full of despicable crimes, arrests and executions that still haunt Old Quebec... The most famous executioner, Jean Rattier, or his wife, the irreducible Marie Rivière, recounts them with blood-curdling humor!

Street theater Crimes in New France
Beware, ghosts lurk! The Crimes of New France street theater will have you interacting with numerous criminals from the New France era, starting with the specter of executioner Jean Rattier and his wife Marie Rivière.
Other enigmatic characters will also appear along the way... sometimes even startling you! Dressed up in costumes and make-up, they'll finally bring their heinous crimes out into the open. We bet their tales will give you goosebumps!

This gentle, light-hearted winter tour through the streets of Old Quebec takes you back to the past, to the joyous stories of yesteryear. You'll relive the customs and legends surrounding Christmas festivities in New France.
How did the French settlers manage to acclimatize to the "frette" of Quebec winters? What miraculous remedies did they use to survive? You'll soon find out, thanks to this enchanting stroll through some of the most beautifully decorated old streets of Québec's Lower Town. The whole family is welcome!
