RESIDENCE OF THE GOVERNOR GENERAL OF CANADA
Visit to the residence of the Governor General of Canada, with a beautiful art collection, in Quebec City.
The Governor General of Canada represents the Canadian Crown and exercises the responsibilities associated with the office of Canada's Head of State. She has been staying at La Citadelle in her official capacity since 1872. The decor is inspired by the colours of the Quebec winter. Canadian materials such as walnut, granite and aluminum are featured. A work by Jean-Paul Lemieux and a collection of Inuit art add to the attractions of this visit.
