A remarkable museum offering various exhibitions and workshops on current, historical and unusual subjects in Quebec City.
The building (1988) was designed by the famous architect Moshe Safdie. Inside, the museum offers superb exhibitions and workshops on current, historical and sometimes unusual subjects. Permanent exhibits include "C'est notre histoire" (culture, diversity and aspirations of Quebec's First Nations and Inuit) and "Le Québec, autrement dit" (diversity of perspectives and significant events that have forged the province). Restaurant (Espace saveurs par Nollen) and boutique (in the vaulted cellars of the Maison Estèbe) on site.
