BOIS-DE-COULONGE PARK
Park with an arboretum, the boiler room of the greenhouses converted into an interpretation center, a sugar shack and walking trails.
This is the former residence of the Governors General of the United Province of Canada and the Lieutenant Governors of Quebec. The greenhouse boiler room, one of the buildings on the historic estate, has now been converted into an interpretation center, featuring a historical exhibition and reading area (open in summer, free admission). The park also features an arboretum, gardens and walking trails. In late March and early April, don't miss the park's sugar shack, where you can sample taffy on snow and visit the maple grove.
