PETIT CHAMPLAIN DISTRICT
It is THE "postcard" district of Quebec City, and even more so when its small pedestrian streets are covered with snow.
Accessible from the Upper Town by the Breakneck Staircase (nothing to fear on this side!) or the funicular, this district is full of beautiful shops of artists and craftsmen, without forgetting many gourmet addresses. Rich in history, there are beautiful period residences, such as the Louis-Jolliet house (1683) or the Chevalier house where typical 18th and 19th century interiors are recreated. The Petit-Champlain fresco, which evokes the origins of the Cap-Blanc district, is also worth seeing. A must have!
