Opened in 1816, Saint Paul Street links the Old town, the harbour and the Nouvo St-Roch. Between 1833 and 1883, the Saint Paul market began intensive economic activities. The Saint Paul street is also among the first streets in Quebec City to benefit from the new improvements that Progress brings: gas and tramway. Today, this charming street is renowned for its art shops and especially antiques.
