Interpretation center evoking through its exhibitions the voyages of Jacques Cartier to Canada.
Reliving the wintering of Jacques Cartier and his companions in 1535-1536 is an experience in itself. This interpretation centre evokes through its exhibitions Jacques Cartier's travels to Canada, his encounters with the St. Lawrence Iroquois, and the role played by the Jesuits since the arrival of missionary Jean de Brébeuf. After your visit, on sunny days, take a short walk in Old Limoilou and a picnic in Anse-à-Cartier Park.

Very interesting! It is very small (a room), but ô how rich if you have a guide for all to tell you! The place here where the first boat arrived (which has not been there longer ten years, unfortunately), in a small Indian camp (indigenous, you must say) and first relations between these two people. A long house (native habitat of time) is in the process of reconstruction, soon you should be able to admire it!
