The Museum popularizes science in a fun, accessible way for all ages, through varied exhibitions and interactive outdoor excursions. Fly over the vertiginous capes and dive into the cold waters with the multimedia experience “Journey into the Heart of the Saguenay Fjord”. Discover underwater mysteries when you visit the “Fjord Aquarium” and its 350 living species. Visit our touch pool and handle sea urchins, sea cucumbers, as well as starfish. Unravel 175 years of regional population dynamics in an exhibition where sociology, genetics and history merge. Finally, the entire family can see and touch all manner of insects and small animals thanks to our “Vivarium” exhibit, where stick insects, tree frogs, and hermit crabs bristle with life!
