Site full of history of the Chicoutimi Pulp Company near the Chicoutimi River with a regional museum.
Located near the Chicoutimi River, this site is steeped in the history of the Chicoutimi Pulp Company. Built between 1897 and 1921, the site originally included four pulp mills, an electrical substation and a mechanical workshop. It is this last building, inaugurated in 1921, that has been the site of La Pulperie, the Musée régional du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, since 2002. The house of the painter Arthur Villeneuve, a must-see, is the masterpiece of his collection.

La pulperie est intéressante historiquement mais malgré une ou deux belles photographies, j'ai quand même été un peu déçu du site en général.
