Site of the New France, making every effort to bring back to life an authentic past with characters of the time.
A fascinating journey back in time to 17th-century New France, in the daily life of the colony of Quebec. Every effort has been made to bring you back to an authentic past: inhabitants in period costume, buildings meticulously reconstituted in a landscape faithful to the descriptions. Thirteen new buildings have been added to the site for the American series Barkskins. Other attractions include a zip line and walking trails.

Excellent reconstruction of village and farm... The view is magnificent Saguenay. For the restoration it is quite " fast food" basic but you will not eat gourmet. The theatrical reconstructions are very well...

La visite et intéressante et se fait par l'intermédiaire d'un guide et de divers acteurs en costume qui théâtralise la vie à l'époque de la colonisation.
La visite dur environ 2 à 3 heures. Le personnel est souriant et heureux de répondre aux questions. Je recommande vivement d'y passer pour découvrir ce magnifique site.
