Inn with terrace offering a charming and bucolic atmosphere.
This is a nice Inn with a capital A. We owe its owner for returning a much-forgotten cachet to this table. Don't look for the modern side of the place. It's a breath of fresh air, by the water, waiting for you: the atmosphere is charming and bucolic. Here, you can enjoy all the seasons: you wait for summer to settle down on the terrace and winter to warm up by the fire. 40 years of experience and a solid reputation. The master of the place is busy between the room and the kitchen, with enthusiasm. We salute his title of "Vice-world champion of pâté en croûte" and, above all, we savour the little marvel. We love his lunch menu, the calf's head and the foie gras that we come to taste, all on purpose. We like the freshness of the products (mixed salads and fruit salads) and the simplicity that reigns here. In the Grimbosq forest, on the greenway between Caen and Thury-Harcourt, a few kilometres from Clécy, it is a more than ideal stopover. On sunny days, you can also eat there on the garden side, on weekends, merguez sandwiches, ham on the bone, chips and pancakes. What else ?
