PRINCE OF WALES NORTHERN HERITAGE CENTRE
Very nice educational museum on two floors with interesting exhibits on indigenous peoples.
Since 1979, this beautiful two-storey educational museum has been presenting interesting exhibits on the Aboriginal populations, the region's wildlife (superb bears, muskoxen and stuffed caribou) and on typical northern transportation such as seaplanes and snowmobiles. It is one of the region's must-see attractions. The goal of this museum is to preserve the culture and heritage of the Northwest Territories and to promote cultural exchanges.
