GLACIAL KASKAWULSH
Kaskawulsh Glacier has a hiking trail with a great view for an intermediate level hike.
The Sheep Creek Hiking Trail offers superb views of the Kaskawulsh Glacier of the St. Elias Range and the A'äy River Valley (Slims) after following an old mining road and crossing a subalpine area. An intermediate level hike to be completed in 4 to 6 hours (10 kilometres round trip - 430 metres elevation gain) and well worth it. Kluane Glacier Air Tours proposes to fly over the glacier by plane, the view is breathtaking on the mountains and on this impressive glacier of 39 000 km².
