A really good address using fresh local products in Grandcamp-Maisy.
Facing the trawlers, Frédéric Lévêque’s charming restaurant, with windows overlooking the port and the docks, charm will definitely delight you. In summer, from the terrace, or in winter, in the warmth of the winter, you can see the fishermen busy themselves with the tides. The white and blue outside, the bar at the entrance and its boat-hulled architecture give the impression of a trip on the water. The interior decoration is neat, the table could not be better set up. The lacquered wooden chairs, the wall panelling... We feel invited to the captain’s table, whose cuisine is among the most famous in the region. Especially since we are gladly welcomed at a time when others are reticent about you! Without reservation, at 2 pm, at the beginning of August, a fresh plate of three melons with feta cheese and sausage, a supreme poultry fondant stuffed with andouille and mashed potato in the county were waiting for us. Cheese option different with a marinated mini heart of Neufchâtel and apple chutney to finish. It was full of happiness. We are in everything that is most natural from the beginning to the end of the meal, whether we taste the taste of the sea or the flavors of the land. This is a real good address that gives pride of place to fresh local products, and with attentive staff. We don’t hesitate for a moment.
