BRASSERIE-BAR DE LA PLAGE
Brasserie with a terrace offering tempting dishes, meats, and desserts in the heart of the Baie des Veys.
The interest of this small establishment, with its marine colours, is its breathtaking view of the beach and its terrace. But don’t expect big gastronomic flights. It’s just the right thing, like at home. On the menu, next to the traditional mussels and chips (marinières, cream, camembert sauce...) that we have chosen, other dishes look tempting. Fricassee of scallops and tagliatelle, minced chicken with camembert sauce, red mullet fillets, lemon sauce... As we cannot test everything on the same day, we leave you this pleasure. There were two of us and we also shared a few oysters as an appetizer. In the heart of the Bay of Veys, it would have been a shame to miss it. Desserts make you forget that you’re not really hungry after all this: you can have a gourmet coffee or a Tatin pie with your eyes closed. The warm welcome makes this small restaurant a warm canteen where we talk from one table to another. A little downside to fries, maybe, which are not homemade.
