Hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the sea at the foot of the seawall.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, however, they are mostly comfortable even though they deserve a small renovation. And if you have the chance to sleep in one of those overlooking the sea, you will be in heaven, lulled by the tide. Take advantage of the sea spray and other algae odours that waft up at the foot of the cliff. Unlike some hotels where the restaurant falls short, this Duguesclin pleasantly surprises. Classic cuisine, excellent menu. The hotel brings us to the restaurant and the restaurant to the hotel. The establishment can do both things: we cannot leave one without trying the other.

Worse still one serves a rosy restaurant Sancerre 2004... while this type of wine is not conducive to age beyond 3 or 4 years... widely undrinkable!
Although us were replaced the bottle for more recent but a good " caviste" very well knows this wine is not conducive to age for a long time.
Hotel not recommended...

Les chambres de l'hôtel aurait besoin d'un coup de peinture et du remplacement de la moquette mais la vue sur la mer et le port sont très appréciables. Le restaurant est vraiment extra. Les plats sont vraiment frais et bons. Les assiettes sont bien servies et le poisson excellent. A ne pas rater si vous passer sur Grandcamp Maisy. Bonnes balades également à faire et bonnes adresses (bar avec animations, magasins sympas et vente de pêche sur la place)
