The Via Rail train serves the whole country from east to west. It's a good option if you arrive from nearby Canadian cities such as Montreal, Kingston or Toronto. Although several bus lines pass close to the railway station (no stops on site), the most efficient way to get to the city centre is the O-Train Confederation Line (light rail, same fares as the bus). It should be noted that this station - designed by the famous architect John Cresswell Parkin - has recently completed major renovation work.
