It feels like home, and this cool bar clearly has its regulars. A no-frills place, a great Ottawa classic.
This small, pub-like neighborhood bar, nicknamed "Chez-chez" by locals, has been a fixture in Ottawa for nearly 20 years. It's the perfect place for a late-night drink with a gourmet burger or nachos. We like the large bar, the brick walls, the small glass roof at the entrance, the field hockey pictures and objects (the owner is a big Montreal Canadiens fan) and the simplicity of the place. A friendly place, without fuss! One piece of advice: if you want to spend a quiet evening, come early in the week.
