CITY FOLK FESTIVAL
An event devoted entirely to folk music, with an off-camera component featuring the local music scene, Marvest.
Located at the Great Lawn in Lansdowne Park, this great festival is the meeting place for the great names in folk music. In the Aberdeen Pavilion, you will find the Mill Street microbrewery and its subsidiaries (Brickworks Ciderhouse, Vodka Cooler, etc.) as well as producers and artisans of all kinds. The Marvest, the off-campus part of the City Folk Festival, is held along Bank Street, where the local up-and-coming generation of folk musicians shines. Various workshops and discussions are also on the program of the Marvest, an entirely free event.
