The new GAO reopened its doors in 2018 in a superb space covering five floors and more than 5,000 m2 of exhibition space. It includes a room for the permanent collection, spaces for contemporary and historical exhibitions, two rooftop terraces (the view is magnificent!), a studio for various programs and workshops, not to mention its main asset, its room dedicated to the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art, which includes works by the famous Group of Seven.
