Many people have stayed here, from prime ministers to members of the royal family, Quebec legends and even alleged murderers on the run... There are a dozen rooms of different categories, including two junior suites, as well as the restaurant and pub, which specializes in gourmet burgers and wood-oven pizzas. A great address, close to the marina and the beach of Aylmer.

Unique in that is one of the few stone buildings left, and they got live bands Saturdays and people can dance. Food at the bar is quite good, large selection of drinks, and good service.

Me and my girlfriend shared a chicken wrap and it was enough to sustain us for the walk we did. The restaurant is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the beach and is a good place to relax.

My husband and I unfortunately have to take a pause from eating here. More often than not, the food is dry, undercooked, or overcooked. We love the atmosphere and the servers, but can't keep spending money on low quality food. Hopefully enough reviews of the food turn things around. We'll try again in a few months.
