Formerly known as the Rectory Café, The Riviera is the ideal place to take a gourmet break during a trip to the Toronto Islands (the restaurant is 500 meters from the ferry landing). The setting is simply enchanting and makes you want to take root there for a while, with a glass of wine or beer in hand, wedged in the cushions of the banquette in the dining room or on the large and magnificent terrace with a view on the lake. The menu is simple but effective (homemade chili, sandwiches and burgers, pasta, world flavors, etc.).
