Nikkei Kitchen has a nice trendy address in town, all in an urban setting with street art and DJs in the evening.
It's one of downtown's gourmet spots, opening in June 2019 and a member of the Chotto Matte family that has eateries in London, Los Angeles, Miami, Riyadh and more. The place alone is worth the detour: a decor signed Andy Martin Architecture and inspired by the urbanity of Tokyo with graffiti prominently displayed above the bar. On the plate, Nikkei cuisine, i.e. Japanese and Peruvian inspired, a very fashionable trend at the moment. The place also lends itself to evening outings, especially since there is often a DJ.
