Open for some twenty years now, Messini is a veritable institution in the Greektown district. Its reputation is based first and foremost on its gyros, considered by many to be the best in Toronto and beyond. While the original recipe is pork-based, Messini also offers versions with chicken, lamb or beef. Perfect for a snack at any time of day! Other Messini specialties include souvlaki, pita bread , Greek salad and Greek-style poutine.
