HTO PARK
For a little lazy time - without swimming - just steps away from the skyscrapers, nothing beats the HTO Park beach on Lake Ontario.
Nothing beats a trip to the beach on a sunny summer's day! Although you can't swim in Lake Ontario, you can sit in an Adirondack chair under an umbrella, with your feet in the sand, and enjoy the fine weather while admiring the lake and islands. The beach also includes a western section accessible from 375 Queens Quay West. Another well-known urban beach in Toronto is Sugar Beach, located opposite the Redpath Sugar refinery on the eastern side of the Harbourfront. The decor, however, is a little more industrial.
