St. James Anglican Cathedral in Toronto, with its imposing gothic revival architecture.
The imposing Gothic Revival architecture of St. James Anglican Cathedral is home to the oldest congregation in the city, which established its parish here in 1797. However, the present building is somewhat newer, built between 1849 and 1853 according to the plans of Frederick William Cumberland, and has been protected under the Ontario Heritage Act since 1977. It was here that the funeral of former Mayor Rob Ford was held in 2016.
