OLD CITY HALL
A warmly coloured building with Romanesque Revival architecture, a heritage site used as a court of law in Toronto.
Its beautiful architecture in Romanesque Revival style has made it famous. This warmly colored building was designed by the famous architect E. J. Lennox in 1889, the man also behind the design of the famous Casa Loma. The building once housed Toronto's City Hall (the new one faces it); today it is recognized as a heritage site and serves as the Toronto South Court. Accessible on weekdays only, the building is worth a visit. We like the stained glass window located in the heart of the building.
