Queen's Park is home to Canada's largest and most renowned university.
Ranked 25th among the world's top universities in the QS World University Rankings 2025, it is not only the most prestigious and selective university in the country, but also the largest. It comprises three campuses, including St. George's in Queen's Park. Founded in 1827 as King's College, it was the first institution of higher learning in Upper Canada. The 71-hectare campus includes numerous buildings with a blend of Romanesque and Gothic Revival architecture.
