FORT GORGE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
Fort dating from 1812 with the Brock, monument dedicated to the hero of the battle of Queenston, activities and animations with the visits.
Faithfully rebuilt, it is as it looked in 1812, just prior to the Anglo-American War during which the fort defended Upper Canada. The Brock, a monument to the hero of the Battle of Queenston, has been added. Guided tours as well as several activities and animations are offered by guides in period costume, such as musket firing demonstrations or the military music of the 41st Regimental Fife and Drum Corps.
