QUETICO PROVINCIAL PARK
A protected wilderness refuge located on the border of Canada and the United States, accessible by canoe and by car in Atikokan.
This protected wilderness refuge is located on the border between Canada and the United States. It is accessible at four locations by canoe and two locations by car (Dawson Trail Campground and Lac La Croix ranger station). The tangled network of lakes was once used as waterways by the Ojibway and fur traders. Today, the park is used primarily by experienced canoeists seeking solitude and wildlife near waterfalls, shimmering lakes and endless forests
