POTHOLES PROVINCIAL PARK
Nature reserve east of Wawa for picnicking, scenery viewing or a short interpretive trail.
This nature reserve east of Wawa takes its name from the giant pots and ice-age rock depressions carved into the bed of the Kiniwabi River. Stop here for a picnic lunch, view the landscape or take a short interpretive trail to get a close-up look at the giant kettles, sedges and herbaceous broadleaf weeds (grasses other than grasses) growing on the riverbank. It is important to note that it is not possible to camp on site as the park offers day use only.
