COBALT MINING MUSEUM
A mining history museum that preserves the heyday of the town of Cobalt in the early 20th century.
Visit the Cobalt Mining History Museum, which preserves Cobalt's good old days in the early 20th century when it was said that "its streets were paved with silver". Leaving the museum, the Heritage Silver Trail traces the path of miners from the turn of the century. The points of interest are well indicated, and you will be able to do the tour on your own or with a guide (in summer only). Let your imagination wander and visualize the miners, picks and hammers in hand, digging the rich vein of silver on the side of a hill.
