The famous yellow and black boats with the inscription "Chicago Water Taxi" offer an original way to get around the city. The network includes 7 stops on all three branches of the river, from Wicker Park in the north to Pilsen in the south. Tickets can be bought directly on the boat or in advance on the internet. A good alternative to guided boat tours, if you don't have much time or if you're on a budget. The boats are in service only from March to December.
