Pizano's doesn't serve the best deep-dish pizza in town, but its fine dough has conquered the mythical Oprah Winfrey.
The deep-dish pizza served at Pizano's is neither the best nor the most authentic in Chicago, but it does have the merit of being a little different from the others, with its thinner dough that was hailed by TV papess Oprah Winfrey. Rudy Malnati Sr., founder of Pizzeria Uno, which has become an institution in the field, had two sons: one of whom launched Pizano's Pizza in 1991. Suffice it to say that the premises are intimately linked to the city's culinary heritage! Pizano's also has two other locations in Chicago.
