Pizzeria Uno is a must-see since it is here that the very first was prepared in 1943!

100 m from the famous Pizzeria Due, here is a restaurant with the same owner and the same menu. It should be noted that the building is over 100 years old and is very "old" compared to the neighbouring buildings. Uno and Due have never changed address and have been in River North since they opened. Very popular with tourists, the pizzas are cheap and the decor reminds us of a scene from The Godfather of Coppola. Although the subject remains open to debate, for many, it was at Pizzeria Uno that deep-dish pizza was invented in 1943.
