The Essex Inn doesn't look like much. The rooms are a little sad and the reception is almost gloomy, but the geographical location of the establishment makes up for everything. Located on the edge of Millennium Park, south of the Loop, the hotel has superb views of the Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium. Another highlight is the gym and swimming pool, which also offers beautiful views of the park. In the rooms, we have all the basic comforts: television, coffee machine, fridge, desk, etc.
