On the occasion of this typically American family celebration, a large parade of giant balloons is organized on State Street.
This typically American family holiday, the most important of the year, commemorates the meal given by the first immigrants - the Pilgrim Fathers - in thanksgiving to God and the Indians for allowing them to survive the first winter in the New World. On the menu: turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cornbread, apple and pecan pie. On this occasion, a big parade is organized on State Street, with giant inflatable balloons.
