Placed on a simple stone at an intersection, this metal plaque commemorates the first kiss between Barack and Michelle Obama in the summer of 1989! At the time, a store of the Baskin-Robbins ice cream chain was located here. The plaque features a photo of the Obama kissing, a quote from Barack Obama about that first kiss and the legend: "On this site, the President Barack Obama first kissed Michelle Obama", meaning "At this place, President Barack Obama kissed Michelle Obama for the first time".
