PLEASANT HOME
Prairie style house transformed into a museum open to the public, offering a tour to discover his works.
A few steps from Frank Lloyd Wright's studio, take a walk around Pleasant Home to stay within the theme, a house designed in 1897 by architect George Maher in the Prairie style. Built more than 100 years ago, it is a small architectural jewel that contrasts with the colonial style of the surrounding houses. George Maher is one of the most important architects of the Prairie style. He has created more than 300 houses and buildings and Pleasant Home, now a museum, is the only one of his works to be open to the public.
