Private Art Deco style apartments with an inactive lighthouse featuring offices and luxury apartments.
Art Deco style building, built between 1927 and 1929 by Holabird and Root, it housed in its superb structure the headquarters of Playboy magazine from 1965 to 1989. In fact, at that time it was called the Playboy Building. In 1930, a lighthouse was added in honour of aviator Charles Lindbergh. Until the building was transformed into private apartments (in 2000), the lighthouse was used to direct aircraft to Midway Airport. The lighthouse is still present, but no longer works. It now houses offices and luxury apartments.
